Description
The HI38054 is a chemical test kit that uses the DPD method to measure ozone. The HI38054 is supplied complete with all of the reagents and equipment necessary to perform approximately 100 tests. The HI38054 is a chemical test kit that determines the ozone concentration in samples withing the 0.0 to 2.3 mg/L range. The HI38054 is supplied with all of the necessary reagents and equipment to perform both analyses, including the Checker® disc for accurate determination.

Significance of Use
• Ozone is an oxidizing agent that used in many industrial and consumer applications. Industrial applications include disinfection of drinking water, wastewater, and food processing rinse water.
Ozone is a mild bleaching agent used in the textile industry. Ozone can also be used for oxidation reactions including the precipitation of manganese from drinking water and the oxidation of cyanide in plating wastewater.
Ozone is versatile oxidizer whether as a germicide, deodorizer or a bleaching agent.
